What's new

The main changes in each version of Cards & Puzzles, newest first.

Version 2.1

  • FixedThe rank star in the header opens your stats at the top, not scrolled past your rank.
  • FixedOn phones, your last games on the stats page show the game, its result and Play again without squeezing the text, and card games there no longer show a long game number.

Version 2

  • AddedFour new solitaires: Yukon, Golf, TriPeaks and Pyramid, every deal winnable, from easy to hard, with hints, undo and a daily deal.
  • AddedSix card games against the computer: Hearts, Spades, Crazy Eights, Gin Rummy, Euchre and Cribbage, at easy, normal or hard, with the same Hint, Undo and Restart as the solitaires. The computer players see only their own cards, like you.
  • AddedMore puzzles: Master Sudoku above expert, three Mahjong layouts of our own (Castle, Butterfly and Bridge), and Custom Minesweeper at any size, still without a guess.
  • AddedSudoku technique guides: ten techniques from hidden single to Swordfish, each worked through on one of our own puzzles.
  • AddedDaily games: every game's daily on one page, with your daily streak and a calendar of the days you won.
  • AddedYour stats: totals for every game and version, your last 50 games with Play again, and personal bests with the day you set them.
  • AddedRanks and achievements: XP from every finished game, ranks from Newcomer to Legend, and 43 achievements.
  • AddedBackup file: download your progress and load it again on this or another device. Nothing is uploaded.
  • AddedSolitaire odds: how many deals of each game our solver could win, and on every game page how often a casual player wins.
  • AddedPause and full screen in every game: pause covers the board until you resume, even after a reload; full screen shows only the board, as big as your screen allows.
  • ChangedA new look for the home page and the All games menu, and one layout for every game: the board starts in the same place and the cards are as big as the screen allows.
  • ChangedEvery game version and level has its own tips and questions, game messages stay out of the way, and the privacy page is shorter and clearer.

Version 1

  • AddedSix games, each with every deal winnable: Klondike (draw 1 / draw 3), Spider (1, 2, 4 suits), FreeCell, Mahjong solitaire, Sudoku (easy, medium, hard, expert) and Minesweeper (beginner, intermediate, expert, no-guess boards).
  • AddedUndo, hints, auto-finish, timer and moves, a daily deal, saved games, stats and streaks on your device.
  • AddedDeals from easy to hard that follow how you play, or pick a level in Settings.
  • AddedOur own cards, tiles and sounds; works offline once opened.
